Stuff of Nightmaresby xianartComment: Noise isn't always bad. This looks like a frame from one of those old horror movies -- The Grasshopper from Hell that ate Tokyo.
Actually, I really like the picture. Those black silhouettes in the background give it a Wasteland mood and I love the goldish-brown in the leaves. |

December Skyby mattforbesComment: It looks as if the building should be straightened, and the colors are pretty unnatural. |

Harvestby TechoComment: I didn't vote in this challenge because I was daunted by the number of entries. My loss, because this is a superb image -- the kind of stuff I want to do when I grow up. |

in-coming2.jpgby NorthStarComment: Beautiful capture of the sea on an un-Kodachrome day. Maybe more sky would give a "bigger" feel to the scene, but it's your picture, your call, and a good job. 8) |

... a light shines through ...by rozComment: Wow! This is what bokeh is all about. Whatever it is in the background mimics the lines of the feathers (fern leaves???). Beautiful colors. |

Chapel Windowby zeuszenComment: Really interesting group of elements, but to my eye, they are too far apart -- at least on a monitor. IMNSHO, you should cut off the grass and brick at the bottom (they form an interesting composition in themselves) and concentrate on the window and the two metal thingies at the top which form an asymentric and visually unexpected combination. Just my opinion and worth what you paid for it! 8) |
