Weathered Windowby banmornComment: Get out there and shoot as much of the house as you can before it changes. There was one like that in my neighborhood, and I was always going to go next weekend. Next weekend finally came, and it had been completely "restored". My lesson. My loss. 8) |

Crane, 2nd tryby sfaliceComment: Great eye to see all that! Thanks for sharing your technique. I think I use a similar technique with a fair number of b&w conversions. I usually just work with levels and curves, but I will do my first levels and curves as normal, flatten the image, and then go back and do a second curve fooling around and exaggerating the channels as if I was "cross processing". When I have what I want, I flatten again, and then go into b&w. |

Together - Day 10by sherpetComment: Good bokeh and you kept the texture in the feathers of the little guy in front. Nice work. |

BW - 8by mia67Comment: I'm not a big fan of sepia, but it works well here. A very delicate, retro shot. |

Garden Partyby JutildaComment: I always liked the line from the chorus, "You see, ya can't please everyone, so ya got to please yourself". Should be the motto for this thread.
Cool composition with the main interest running on the diagonal in the upper third of the frame. Turning The Rule of Thirds on its head? |
