I can see this on the cover of a book... and it's not chick lit!

Beautiful! Looks very Japanese to me. I want to listen for one of those little fountains with the bamboo dipper that fills and then goes "plok"!

I did this in about 3 minutes.

Used a clone brush of about 80 pixels at first with a hardness of about 50%. Took some water from the left of the boat and cloned the hull out in 2s. Used a much smaller clone brush, 8px, with hardness of 100% to remove the mast from the hull of the boat, I zoomed right in and lined up the clone brush with the brown and white border and then the same with the blue white border. Same small brush to get the mast out.

Same principal with the boat at the rear, lined up the clone brush with the horizon to make sure they matched .... the whole thing took less time than writing this, it's a little crude and could be done better with the original and a little more time spent :)

Thanks, Robert. I thought about cloning, but figured there was too much fiddly stuff. I'll give it a shot over the weekend.

What's wrong? It is a moonscape, right? ;)

Our fire (The Gap) is almost out, but there's plenty of ash blowing around in the air. It's a very strange light for photography.

Great cat portrait. He's got great eyes and whiskers, but I really love those fuzzy paws.
