	Road Kill! by mOTiVe Comment: black frame is appropriate, but not even on all sides (add the frame as the very last thing you do in editing). Subject matter is sad! DoF is excellent at drawing the eye.

	Baby Duckling by artvet Comment: love the colours! fluff on birds back looks a little soft - I might have sharpened slightly more. some oversaturation in the yellows is leading to loss of detail (eg back of head).

	Dinner Secured by jbsmithana Comment: fantastic capture. with a slightly shallower DoF the attention would be fully focussed on the bird and the moment you have caught so well. Have to mark down slightly as an image because the background is distracting.

	Catch of the Day by cghamilton Comment: great capture, though backlighting is problematic (flash might have helped) and there is a slight loss of detail/sharpness in the bird.

	Sing by edwalk74 Comment: you could have cleaned up the spots in the glass under advanced editing. Not sure how well this alternative take will do! I'm afraid that I am not convinced, though I like the idea.

	Stare of an Emu by Gaia Comment: more "beak of an emu" - greater DoF with beak and eyes in focus might have been more interesting.
