Nasty detail on the edge of the fruit. Nice idea, but the lack of care in prettying up the fruit prop is magnified on the page. And the snails aren't really racing as much as hiding in their shells. Maybe you could have gotten them going (don't know with what - petrol?)

Excellent idea - very appropriate for the site. A shame that the camera dial is not a little cleaner, or that the focus (literally and compositionally) is not clearly on the "P" part of the selection knob.

too small and badly lit. Has a certain "web-cam" feel to it. But I don't think that adds to the theme here. Maybe some more lights from other directions, or more daylight? Or even something like a candle to add mood and an interesting light effect.

Pandering to stereotypes of boring books, but I like the idea! Also very well executed - how do you keep your glasses so clean? Background might be considered a bit distracting, but I like it - not a "stock" style with zero background, but adds colour without being too much I think. Only criticism is that you appear to have a dead pixel in centre of white area on book.

A cryptic crossword would be more interesting.

Nice photo, though! A tighter crop might have been interesting - the picture is very focussed on the central elements, though I think that it is well bordered by good use of DoF.

dog has some strange growth coming out of his mouth (see vet urgently) - very distracting! Understand that this may be a cookie - and that the cookie might be her best friend. And the image does not clearly say who she is friends with. But a nice looking dog (my dog likes dog biscuits too).

colours look really off (on my monitor) - that coke should be red, not orange, I think. And red/green is not a pretty combo. And the composition is a little flat - you have filled the frame, but there is no great variety in shape/height etc to make it interesting. And it seems a little overexposed, as you have lost all of the detail in the necks of the bottles.
