Dramatic!! Border is too complicated for my taste. colours are vobrant, but the lack of detail in the dark clouds a little distracting. And it looks as thought there is a "grain" in the image that won't serve you well (maybe consider using a different resizing program?) Nice image though.

contentious title - there was nothing, then light, not nothiong then darkness! Image feels a bit blurry (slow exposure I know and coouds probably moving), while the moon is overexposed with no detail! If you can, try taking underexposed pics of the moon and using PS to increase the brightness and contrast to retain detail.

Nice colours and good capture of the bird (eish he was flying into frame, not out of it). Composition might have benefitted from rule of thirds being applied more stringently. May be just me, but is horizon a pixel or two off straight, too (only an issue as it is a focus point).

Good use of frame filling - not sure about the bright red (is that a hue change) as that detracts slightly for me. Also, is your picture the full 640 pixels? If not, you are wasting some precious space for detail!
