last minute, I had the idea for a while but couldn't really get it to come out the way I wanted. I orignally had in mind dramatic backlighting. Oh well.

Good shot. I think the lighting is very good. The apple appears a bit too dull. Maybe a polish would have improved it.

I like the lighting on the hand, but the apple is a little dark. It would be better if you left a little more room to the right, and top of the photo. The apple touching the top, and hand almost touching the side bothers me. Other than that, I like it very much, keep up the good work.

good idea, but why is grace (light) coming from the bottom and not the top?

Interesting concept. Like the shot of the concept.

with the title I would be expecting the light to have been shining from above and the mark on teh apple distracts me a little but nice crisp image and good use of the dark background

Nice idea, well executed. Apple looks v slightly soft to me. Looks slightly bruised on side facing camera - no criticism of pic, just your prop! nice image.

Very good theory and execution. Wish the apple was a little better lit. Nice shot.

Cropped too close on the top I think.

Harsh light from bottom is a bit distracting... I'd have preferred it all be like the diffuse lighting from the right.

Better if you just had a 1/2 centimeter more atop the crop...

I really like the way you did this. The lighting is perfect and the black background makes it a really striking picture. Good luck.
