The Only Rain in L.A. is Artificialby hopelessoptimistComment: I like the very abstract feel of this. I don't get the title (but I'm not considering it in the score). This has some really nice sparkly/glistening effects and I like the lines/composition. Nice job. |

Life giving waterby Duane_FishComment: Not a bad shot - good focus, although I think the DOF is a bit shallow. Also, the greens look unnatural (maybe too much processing?). Still, a pleasing image. |

Nothing will spoil their dayby RiponladyComment: Is this the same couple I saw on the boat? ;-) Actually, I think this shot works better, as there are fewer things in the foreground to be a distraction. I think the colors could use a bump or two. |

Gutter Greeneryby singeComment: Interesting choice of selective desat. Not sure it works for me personally, although there are some aspects of it that I do like. If you had brought out all the browns and blueish-greens it might have had more appeal for me. Still, it is an interesting take. |

Reflection In The Roadby sajinComment: This is a much better shot upon closer examination than at first glance. You got some amazing detail in the puddle reflection and I like the warm tones. The pavement texture is a bit distracting though. Still, good shot. Bumping up. |

Rainy day trafficby naomikComment: Not a bad shot technically at all. Nice perspective, focus, & DOF. Natural colors too and the lighting isn't bad. Unfortunately, though, the subject matter really doesn't grab me personally. |
