Waiting For Youby mandyturnerComment: This is another beautiful portrait of you! Great shadows and lines. Very nice detail and composition. My only very minor critical observation is that the skin tones are mottled on my monitor. If it weren't for that, I'd say 10. As is, still a very strong entry and an 8. :-) |

Four Conedby neophyteComment: This is really inventive and original. Great composition and color. Lighting (which really could have been a downfall here) is also quite good. Very nice work. |

Radcliffe Camera, Oxford by postoakinversionComment: Incredible detail and composition. Really a magnificent view. The sky couldn't have been more perfect either. I'm very surprised that B/W worked so well here, but it sure did! Nice job. |

falls 21.jpgby rasdubComment: Again, GREAT reflection and composition! But also here, I think the upper portions are too washed out - IMHO they need a little boost (color, contrast, burn, etc.). Simply amazing scenery and very nice capture. |

falls 31.jpgby rasdubComment: This is really stunning. The reflection placement is perfect. Fantastic composition. I would consider bumping up the color sat a bit and maybe do some burning in the sky & far rocks. Otherwise, really, REALLY beautiful shot! |

Reyes Fenceby rasdubComment: Now there's a different look. Good job of making the ordinary, extraordinary. I can't decide whether I like the use of the fisheye lens here or not - I think I do. :-) I think the B/W works very well with the tonal contrasts. Cool shot. |

Branch of Light!by AzCKellyComment: Very powerful image. Wish the green sunspot wasn't there, but I know there's no spot editing in a basic challenge. Nice shot! |

Tree Hammockby BarretteComment: What a GREAT capture! I do wish the tones were more interesting though, because you really spotted a unique find. I think it would work better with some more color, contrast, and a slightly offset crop - but that's just my opinion. Still, solid entry. |

a good place to restby theflyComment: Nice crisp shot. The DOF may be a bit shallow and there are some blown highlights, but compositionally it's very appealing. Good work. |
