Flowersby LKMoteComment: Wow - amazing focus & DOF. Great bokeh too. My only (very slight) criticism would be that although the bouquet (not bokeh - ;-)) is slightly offset, I think it could be moved more out of the center. This is a very strong entry. Bumping up. |

Fountains of Bellagioby nrulkovComment: This almost looks like a photo shoot where all the cast have been choreographed. the silhouettes are great and the tones of the water are spectacular, but what I think really makes the image is the person leaning against the lamppost with his arm rested on his leg. Great capture. |

Contrast of Coolby jayrodComment: Unique choice of tones for this challenge. I think it certainly meets the high contrast requirements, but it really stands out not only for its creativity, but also for the warmth of the color tones. Good opacity in the glasses/reflection and great composition too. Nice work. |

Patriotic Empireby MPRPROComment: Great capture. Good focus, contrast, and I think the centered composition works well. My only suggestion would be to include the actual top of the spire - I think the crop is too tight on the top - otherwise, great shot. |
