The Fast and the Furiousby samanwarComment: This is an incredible image - however you achieved it. :-) I'm sorry about the DQ (and for once disagree with SC's decision). Keep up the spectacular work! This is AWESOME!!! Straight into Favorites! |

Pediophobia - Fear of Dollsby Shan2112Comment: Hard to believe how scary a doll can be. You certainly achieved it here - This is really terrific! Congrats on your top 20 placement. The background was definitely the right choice and the B/W adds that necessary element of mystery and darkness. Well done. |

delicate luckby Shan2112Comment: Well done. I really love the negative space - the composition is terrific. Looks like the contrast may be a tad too high for my personal taste, but it's tough to argue with such a wonderful presentation. Great job! |

Nekimi treeby FrostyPawsComment: This is awesome! Major kudos for going out on a limb (so to speak) with the processing and pulling it off so beautifully. Excellent work. 9 |

Mud and Woodby cfischlComment: I agree with mud & Angel - this shot clearly has a lot of potential. I really like the lines & composition. It just needs that extra little bit of pizzazz to bring everything together with depth. I think the idea of burning/dodging & draganizer is a good way to go here. Good eye for spotting this. |

Squirrel Conversationby cfischlComment: I really like the composition here, but the slightly OOF is a bit of a distraction. A run through Neat Image (or just bump up the contrast, color sat, & sharpen) may clean that up a bit. Cute shot. |

Japanese Brideby cfischlComment: Overall I like the shot, but there are a couple of things I would probably try to see how they look. I would crop much more off the top and a little more off the sides (zoom in closer). I would also try to burn some of her dress to bring out some of the detail & depth there. Last thing is run it through Neat Image to clean up the slight OOF/noise. Just some suggestions - not sure that any or all of them would help, but they might make it pop a little more. Currently it seems to lack a little luster. |
