by dgrozComment: Lots of potential here I think. Good sky to work with, but could use some burning/dodging to really bring it out. I would definitely crop it differently to get the tree out of dead center. Then I think you could probably bump up the contrast and play with the color sat a bit to make it pop more. Again, beautiful scenery. |

Switzerland 090.jpgby dgrozComment: This is nice and pretty, but seems to lack real "punch". Maybe more contrast or some selective burning to bring out more deep, rich shadows & tones? I think with some editing work, this could pop. Again, nice capture - you've been to some beautiful places. |

South Africa 545.jpgby dgrozComment: Breathtaking scene... Nice capture. One question - that line at the top, is that the horizon? If so, I'd probably straighten it a bit. Actually, I probably would even if it's not, because it appears to be. Good shot. |

South Africa 632.jpgby dgrozComment: Beautiful shot with lovely tones, but the centered subjects are a bit of a distraction to me. I would suggest a different crop - moving them to one side. Otherwise, nice shot. I'm really digging the gold tones. Message edited by author 2006-04-16 20:57:13. |

Circles and Shadowsby GolferDDSComment: Very cool shot! Took me a few secs to figure it out, but finally got it. Great mind & eye for spotting the potential here. Message edited by author 2006-04-16 13:40:42. |

Monaby alfrescoComment: Whoa dude!!! There you go being all stark again. This is really cool! What a great capture. The drained color fits the subject/model perfectly. Reminds me a bit of the actress who played Olive Oyl (& Jack Nicholson's wife in The Shining). This is really great. |
