Boundariesby yankoComment: Very poignant. Love the moody tones. Focus & DOF are dead on. |

Barbary Sheep Portraitby yankoComment: Fantastic! I'd love to read more about how you achieve this look in your animal portraits. They're really terrific and you create such amazing texture (or allow it to shine through). Excellent. |

Fawnby yankoComment: I like the selective desat here - really makes the fawn stand out. Great detail & textures on her too. Not crazy about the border and the crop is a little tight, but the pic is terrific. ;-) Message edited by author 2006-05-26 23:34:14. |

Sedona Red Rockby ArpeggioAngelComment: Nice color & focus/detail. You might consider trying to brighten the foreground areas a bit with the dodge/burn brush (I use +3 brightness, +5 contrast to add "light" or highlights to darker areas). Then I'd probably switch to -1 brightness and +3 contrast on the sky to make it moodier. Of course, I tend to overdo this sort of thing... ha! Great capture! |

Orange dragonflyby ArpeggioAngelComment: This is sweet! Love the tones. I would probably clone out the twig stuff on the right - it doesn't seem to add anything and draws my attention away from the fly. Really nice capture. |

Youth Interruptedby CalliopeKelComment: She's 12??? She looks at least 18 in this shot. HA WOW... They do grow up fast. I kinda agree with Joey though about the white leaning post, but terrific capture once again. :-) |
