I think this is very well taken considering the lighting, location, and depth of field required. However, this does not scream blue, or even whisper blue. So, while I think you did a wonderful job here, I think you will score poorly in this challenge. In a group portrait challenge, probably a 6, easy.

Hmmm. I would suspect that this image proves you wrong on all counts (not that at least 100 others you have wouldn't either) at least with regard to DPC friendly images. And, with a doll image no less! Your processing and composition are excellent and your lighting proves your artistic creativity. Now you can stop underestimating yourself.

This is well taken but its someone else's art. As someone said, as a product shot in a catalog, this is perfect; otherwise, it marble on a plain white background. You're not giving anyone any emotional depth in this image. This image of yours

gives me much more emotion and a little bit of you so it is a much better image in my eyes.
