Thank you so much for all your votes and comments. It was a fun ride throughout the week. Starting at 6.5 and then bit by bit moving up.
Some of you asked how this picture was taken.
I have a crystal ball with air bubbles ‘frozen’ inside. Here a picture of a previous shot.

The shot developed through 6-7 phases to the point you can see.
I created one page filled with small little diamond shapes and wrapped it around the crystal ball. I had to diffuse the light through 2 separate layers (umbrella and white diffuser) to not blow out the whites while keeping a strong contrast.
Once I was at this stage, it only took about 30-40 different angles to find the one I submitted. Actually I had 2 alternatives. Here the alternative

Eventually I went with the majority vote of TEAM GERMANY.
Thank you again, I enjoy this site tremendously and all the participants with their different POVs.

Freaking amazing results, I'm still reading and trying to learn from your technique... sounds somewhat difficult but that is what blues and reds are made of... congrats on your red!!!

Heisch! Fantastisch! Congratulations on the ribbon! Very perplexing and a great shot. It makes me think of an MC Escher painting.
