Compadresby PedroComment: After looking at other entries, I bumped this to a 7. Good colors, focus, composition, pov. The whites in the background are a little harsh. will pass again. |

Butch and Sundanceby jcolosiComment: I like the dof and pov. The focus is a little off (too soft) but the colors are nice. composition is good. |

Powerby tommyd65Comment: I found this image interesting. The subject is boring but the composition makes up for it, as does the focus and POV. Well done crop. I think this is probably the best of the powerlines images. 8 |

Spring Stretchby purelandstudentComment: the brown in this picture does not work for me. The focus of the image would stand out more if the POV was from a little more to the left. This would move the focused stamen (?) in front of the background making it stand out more. Changing the POV would also get the other stamens (?) a little more out of focus. Its interesting (kind of) but doesn't really hold my attention. |

My outside broomby camelotnorthComment: I would have removed the staple. Because of its uniqueness in a repeated pattern it draws my eye. And I wonder why the staple is important in the image. Since I think the pattern rather than the staple should be the focus, this loses 1 for composition. Focus and color are excellent. 6 |

Can Spring Be Far Behind???by dphillipsComment: what's in focus, you cant really see; what's not in focus controls the image. Not sure this shot is effective but it does show lines. |
