What a gorgeous shot. I like it in monochrome - we can assign colors if we wish, or just wander in and back into a quieter time. Lovely.

Nice, a very dreamy, emotive look. Beautiful comp and NICE use of line. Super job. Don't let the "needs better focus" crowd get to you. This is a great shot.

I like the toning. I think you could have underexposed this a little bit though, to keep the shadow detail.

To me; this entry represents everything I love about photography. To pull the viewer into a place they've never been and have them reminiscing about a time in their life when they were at just such a place. The dirt road seems almost symbolic of harder times but when looking back down that road the mind can see only the beauty and charm of life's journey.

The lighting could not have been better to create the almost "drops of sunlight" in the trees. Your color choice is just perfect for keeping this timeless. These are all the things I aspire to as a photographer. Congratulations on not only my highest rated picture of the challenge, but one of my all time favorite images on DPC. This is simply a stunning capture in the middle of a daydream.
