I voted this image a 6 in the challenge. With a larger DOF, it probably would have gotten an 8 or 9. The only part in tack sharp focus is the feathers beside and below the beak. I did think it had an excellent POV, good lighting and good saturation for what its worth...

beautiful image. She looks a little mad. I might bump up the sat in the red/yellow channels but it looks great the way it is. Missing feet not so noticible as my eyes are drawn away from that.

this is one of my favorites in the challenge. How could anyone not love this image! Hmmm, the following are options but not neccesarily the only way to go... POV could be differnt from the ground - make the fridge into a monlolith bigger than the mountain behind it. Move to the right so you can crop out the left a little. Wait for a dazzling sunset then have the fridge block out the sun. and a 100 other things. This is so cool. I love juxtaposed absurdities. Shame its reality. 10 from me - good luck in the challenge!

love that the door is offset - not shot straight on - gives the image more character. I owuld have cropped it just a little less tightly to make that offset even more noticeable. Needs a little bright/contrast but not too much, in my opinion. Love the colors - the rust plays extremely well with the blue. 8 from me - good luck in the challenge! BTW - it always amuses me to see wooden frames on metal doors. Kind of defeating the purpose, yes? :) And surrounded by granite even!

This is beautiful. Love the textures! Usually people would look at this as an eyesore and move around it to get the image. This is great. Crop, composition, DOF, POV all work for me. 8 - will check back later on a CRT for better evaluation. On a crt still looks great. On second pass - 9. Could use just a hair of brightness/contrast. Good luck in the challenge!

Love this shot. Everytime I browse the thumbnails I have to open this one up to look. Its not the best technically in this challenge and there are other images that make me go wow! But this image has been growing on me and I have no idea why. I had scored it an 8 but I'm bumping it up to 10. I can't relate to you what quality this image has that keeps me coming back but you got me. Good luck in the challenge!
