We all know that this is a metal challenge. Excluding the word "metal" would reflect a differant perspective, and strengthen the title.

nice comp but probly could be a bit better, nice lines, great color, blacks good, no whites at all, great texture, a bit flat, overall ok

I had a similar idea of bars on a house window and was going to title it "Protection or Prision" but couldn't find one. This is very nice. Cool image, wonder if crop is a little tight though.

Good luck

I wonder if this picture was like some of those other black and whites, if it would make it look more dramatic. I do like it, but it seems to be lacking punch. GL

love that the door is offset - not shot straight on - gives the image more character. I owuld have cropped it just a little less tightly to make that offset even more noticeable. Needs a little bright/contrast but not too much, in my opinion. Love the colors - the rust plays extremely well with the blue. 8 from me - good luck in the challenge! BTW - it always amuses me to see wooden frames on metal doors. Kind of defeating the purpose, yes? :) And surrounded by granite even!

Love the patina of the gate. Nice tight shot.
