Nice capture. I like the fallen leaves and the overall composition and idea that this is a small cabin in the woods. The only thing that detracts from my mind’s eye is the building in the background. You might have been able to mask it under standard editing rules.

The house doesn’t look like it is in terrible shape. Maybe it could be fixed up? The area around it looks somewhat maintained. Makes me wonder what the story is.

It almost looks like the broken glass is in the image of a leaf which makes the branch more interesting. Good eye.

What an interesting place! I am imagining that this is an alleyway and she is a worker taking a break from work in some kind of warehouse. It would be cool if she had a cigarette in her mouth with smoke tracing away from her face.

I like the idea of your picture but like your title it’s more about the path then the abandoned buildings. I would like to go walking around there to see what there is but with the mountains in the background I would want to move on and see what nature has to offer. The buildings are only a small part of the interest in the picture not the subject.

I wonder why one widow is left uncovered? I’d love to go inside and walk around. I would like to see how this picture looks in B&W. It would make the shadows look more interesting.
