I don't see any focus. The light is too harsh of the silky material and the apple is really fried. Try to cover you lights with a napkin, papertowel of use natural lights. I like your idea but I don't think it worked.

As a mom I can relate to this expression and mood. It's very 'little girl'. Darling shot. I'd trim out the stone wall on the bottom a bit.
