a lot of times the florescent (sp?) lighting messes with the white balance on your camera...that's why your picture may be tinted blue or red. in this case the camera rendered the picture more along the red side. keep working on it though, no one wins a ribbon on their first challenge...well, at least not me. :)

Couldn't score this high. Too much red and a soft focus. Take your time with the shot and post processing. this seems rushed.

Okay I dont wanna be cruel, but did you see how outta focus this was before you entered?
Its a nice take on the challenge, but you honestly had to know the quality of this picture isnt good at all..
I hope you take this constructive, because Im not trying to be mean, either that are you wanted to make it bad on purpose?

Fuzzed too badly.

Returning for comment. Soft focus and monochromatic color isn't helping this image. With regard to composition, the apple is in the right part of the frame. This image is not as strong as others in the challenge - keep trying and I'm sure the next one will do better.

Out of focus, color saturation is too red.

I really wish I could say something good about this. It's not an original idea, which can be ok if done exceptionally. The white balance looks off (yellow), out of focus, too small (although if it were bigger it would just amplify the problems).

Hang in there - you can only improve. ;-)

I'm not a fan of arrow through apple on head shots. The color balance looks off and the picture is out of focus. 3

Could be better Focused,

perhaps sharper focus was in order for this one... and a bandage.

Excellent idea showing that the arrow hit the head first. Unfortunately, the injury on the head is barely visible because your image is out of focus. Try to take your image in brighter light, it might help your camera to find the focal point, and the shorter exposures will prevent motion blur or shaking. 5.

This is a great concept. It's a shame it's so blurry and grainy. I'm wondernig if it was a much larger picture and you cropped it - I only say that because of the blur. Also, you may want to experiment a bit with your camera's white balance. The face is quite abnormally orange. Sometimes you can change it on your camera to say indoors, flourescent light, outdoors on a cloudy day, etc.

a good idea but not in focus,

I"m one of the many who submitted a William Tell picture, so I like your idea but I'm guessing that you're not getting many points for originality. This one is a little too blurry for me, and I think that a simple photo editing program could have helped make the color of the apple a little more vibrant, & the color of the man's face a little less so!

The scratch on the forehead is clever but the photo is out of focus and the whitebalance is off.

I'm guesing this is out of focus because you were too close, when you get close up to a subject, make sure your capable of doing macro focusing with your lens.

The focus here is soft and the colors are tinted a bit too red. The idea is good and the composition is good.

This is an interesting image. I really like the shadows seen throughout the photographs however the image looks a little blurry but that could just be me (I'm a little on the blind side sorry)

Cute idea, though this photo is of very bad quality in my opinion, the focus seems to be extremely soft, and the lighting seems to be giving a strange yellowish red cast to the photo, cute idea , keep trying, good luck!

Good enough idea, but *remarkably* pixelated and out of focus.

cliche idea, snapshot quality, and in particular, the color tone on the man's forehead is disturbing. Yes, I see what looks like a scratch on his forehead, but the image is just not very effective. Sorry.
