It's funny--the closeup doesn't say "granular" to me, it sure does say "texture" on the peppercorns. Nice macro.

Agreed on the soft focus being unappreciated here, as I watch one of mine bite the big one. I love a little noise and grain. The frame sets it off nicely but it's a bit too big IMHO given that our display size here is limited to 640 on the long side. Look forward to more from you.
