Homeward Boundby connieComment: Is that background live or is it a photograph itself? The statues/figurines are interesting and mostly in focus (the focus seems to be centered toward the bandaged figure on the left). |

'32 Fordby SwashbucklerComment: This is a really nice photo. I like the color contrast between the rusted metal and the green leaves and the subject is easily identifyable due to the composition. Maybe show a little more of the subject in its environment and recompose to eliminate some of the straight metal on the left of the frame. |

Nobody homeby normwComment: This kind of works in b&w but it would be interesting to see it in color. While the car is mostly a darker shade of grey than the surrounding grasses they are kind of close. It does help that the house is mostly in shadow though and also that there are some shadow areas on the car itself. |

"Travel to a different time zone"by clickerComment: Even though the train is obviously the main subject it seems that if a wider focal length were used to show more of the train and its environment it would have more impact. |

1896by GoatfatherComment: I can imagine this took some patience on your part to make sure everything was aligned and the timing was right. It does seem somewhat dark though but that may have been your desired effect. The tree being not fully in or out of frame is a little distracting considering everything else is centered. |

Derelictby DavidComment: Good job of conveying the subject. I like the contrasting colors of bright greens and brown/red rust. The amount of new growth over and around the structure and the metal help define your subject. Great framing too. |

Needs a lil' paintby fsieradzkiComment: Strangely while I normally find compression artifacts and jagies annoying in digital photos, it kind of works with this subject. The color is nice too with most of the yellow still on the front but gone from the sides. |

Finished by rcrawfordComment: Really nice job framing the subject and use of perspective. Keeping the horizon at the top of the tires just below the chassis so that the mostly clear sky occupies all of the area behind the bulk of the tractor is nice and adds to the grand feeling of the old tractor. This probably would look good in color too if the sky was a nice blue. |

Vintage FMby mcmurmaComment: Being in b&w and having the second exposure with the hand in the frame is kind of cool for a 'ghost-like' effect, which helps give it somewhat of an 'old' feeling. |
