I love shots that tell a story, and this one is fantastic. This reminds me of a story I vaguely remember when I was growing up, with a little thread spool as a mouse's table, etc. It's a tiny bit grainy, which is the only thing keeping it at a 9 instead of a 10 for me.

Definitely my favorite of the challenge. A clever use of the lens cap, even though a few others went with similar ideas. I love the sharpness of her face and her expression. And the fact that she's a stunningly beautiful girl certainly doesn't hurt! A 10 all the way.

It's an ok shot of a port scene, but this isn't really what I would consider a still life. I mean, you can feel the motion of the ships, for one thing. This is much better suited for a landscape/seascape kind of category.

I'm afraid it's just way too cluttered and unappealing. The colors seem to be oversaturated, and there's just too much junk randomly scattered through it. What does a remote control have to do with anything... or random toes here and there? I'm sorry to sound harsh on this one, but it just seems like a rather haphazardly thrown together shot.

Had this been in good focus, it would have been a great shot. Without the focus, though, it just doesn't reach out and grab me, I'm afraid.

Seems a bit haphazard to me with no real focal point. Not a whole lot is in focus here, and the lighting is really harsh. I'm just not sure what I should be looking at -- it's all kinda random.

I can't help but think that the candle -- assuming it's a candle -- is rather phallyc... but I really like this shot! Nice colors and sharpness.
