Great picture of a goat! Not sure I see the correlation to desolation, other than they'll eat everything in sight, but great picture of a goat!

Good choice for the challenge but I'm not personally fond of the post processing, though I realize you probably did it to blur the background.

Bit of lens distortion and some odd processing artifacts (?) around the phone and along the ground. Might have been more effective in color?

It looks almost as if the clouds are spilling down onto the land at one point - kinda nifty!

What a sad face! As presented here in B&W, it's hard to distinguish the dog from the background which is kind of interesting in a way, but probably won't help you score-wise in the challenge.
