Progress?by magpie5212Comment: Looks like they're trying to put in some sort of walkway? Meets challenge, but the composition isn't particularly interesting. The blue barricade things compete with the vertical sign and pole for attention, and the viewer isn't exactly sure what the subject is or should be. |

progress notwithstandingby agenkinComment: I think this works quite well, and I suspect its a combination of the lighting which serves to make the gentlemen blend more with his surroundings (which adds to the "message", in a way) and the colors. |

wretched tree... curse of nature.by kundimansabuwanComment: Having had a palm in my yard before, I "get" the connection to "progress" in that every year you have to cut these suckers back as they grow. The blue is quite electric and some detail lost in the fronds, but it's a kinda cool pic just the same. |
