 Bad timing right after the flowers challenge, I know! Sorry!

Cool, thanks for the votes everyone! My first top 10 for a while, I seem to be on a roll lately :) I was really lucky with this shot. I went outside into my garden, saw these all next to each other, and thought, Wow! Handy! So I grabbed the stems with 1 hand to bring them a little closer together, and shoot with the other hand. It was really windy and they were blowing about all over the place, so the composition and focus were just luck! I took a few, hoping that one would look good, and this one did, woo! :)

Hrm. Am I the only one that sees the weird edges? Looks like there's a fairly strong case of oversharpening here. Was this intentional Ben?

Cool idea. If I had done the PP on this one I would have saturated a little more, maybe even shifted the hue to make it a bit richer, but great shot nonetheless.

A very nice shot. I was wondering how many of the obligatory flower (and bug and kids) shots would actually be relevant. You really pulled it off.

This idea has been shot so well, love it. Feel the eye is drawn to the un-open bud on the left though (rather than the open flower). Perhaps would have been nice if this was out of the depth of field slightly?
