It may require zen on the part of the shooter, but the photograph is not zen-like or soothing to me. On the plus side, good focus on the eye of the shooter. The wall and plants behind are a bit distracting.

Relaxation, I suppose, but not exactly "zen" to me - a bit too busy to convey zen well. The composition isn't especially interesting with the white cabin foreground taking up a good portion.

Because of the natural lighting, the subject appears a sort of a black blob with very little detail. That detracts from the potential zen of the picture.

Definitely minimalistic, but a bit too much so for my taste. The petal itself is a bit soft and maybe a bit overexposed.

Nice soft peaceful colors. I'm not fond of the centered composition, but this subject does lend itself to it OK. Might be just a touch lacking in contrast.

The figurines seem kinda evil-looking, which doesn't seem conducive to zen. The photo is a bit too centered. Perhaps have both figures on one side of the candle and leave a bit of negative space?
