Running Into The Windby EssAreDubyaComment: Very nice! Excellent job of catching the leaves all over the place - some static and frozen, some still definitely moving. Added bonuses of the yellow jacket to echo the leaves, and the windblown hair. Truly creates the feel of a crisp fall day in the city! |

The Winds of Changeby gdob27Comment: The rips in the flag attest to the wind and to both the persistence and prevalence of it, as well as the persistence of the flag itself. I like the focus such that you see the drops on teh grasses, and I like being able to read the date on the headstone as well. Nicely presented. |

playing with leavesby agenkinComment: My favorite of the leaves blowing shots so far - because it has context! IT's a simple shot, but it works well for this challenge, and as an added bonus, makes one wonder about the person across the street - sure seems awfully deserted - what is he/she doing there? |

Perpetual windby lahernComment: While some may not notice, one can see the bend of the grasses in the prevailing direction of the wind. What I like about this is the misty gray day - adds to the notion of a chilly breeze blowing. |

What's Up Father & Sonby sherpetComment: Shez, you already know this is a wonderful image. What I truly love about it is the viewer doesn't even need to read your story to see the affection and love that these two men have for each other. Your camera and your processing shows us that completely. An image you can be very proud of and one I'm sure you'll want to print and frame - two copies - one for you and Peter, and one for Blake. |

Morning watercolorsby quiet_observationComment: I thought I'd commented on this after the challenge but apparently did not. This is lovely!! Truly a very good use of bokeh, both in creating the watercolor effect and including "circles" to satisfy the bokeh police. Composition is dead on - that second strand of grass behind is critical to this, in my opinion - nice balance. And the way the colors fade from purple to a bit of blue to yellow/green is really, really nice. Great job with this! |
