My first real attempt in PS, and it shows ... a faint shadow of the mast I removed is there, as well as "Hilton.com" on the side of the duck - no text is allowed, right? But the two sweat drops from my forehead are nicely gone, as are some other minor things I would not previously have thought of "fixing" ... If I had more time I could have removed even more "irritating details", but this is how I look ... When challenge voting is over, I will post some other shots from here, there are a few nice ones, but this one was the funniest ...

Hi Bill,

You are my first, own encounter with the critique club!

Thank you for your critique, my assistant and co-model H. M. Princess Grace Hilton I and are so flattered :-)

Btw, it is her first modelling job, and now she follows me everywhere. From the current 90ies of the dusty desert heat, into the subzeroes of Alaska (in a few days), it will be a big change for both of us!

So, onwards I go with the challenges of P.S. !

Hello from the Critique Club!

This is a great perspective shot. You captured very well the idea that you are doing everything you can to listen to the very important words from the duckie. The two conflicting moods play well with each other; the seriousness of your expression, and the silliness of the rubber duck. This is enhanced even more by your choice to give this a sepia finish.

When I first looked at this, I never noticed the "irritating details" you mentioned in your notes. And even now, that I can see what you are referring to, I do not find them distracting.

Overall, well done!

could use a bit more contrast, but I like the way I look through the photo, to find the duckie :D

Lol. This one a ripper. The face appears to be entering a forbidden or alien land surface. Then the duckie singing into the ears. Nice work. Bump.
