I do love the perspective showing the little itty bitty flag. It does indeed, despite it's size in relation to the building, catch your eye. And I'm sure you've already been told to get rid of whatever it is in the top corner - I can see where you didn't want to crop to lose the centering of the lower part of the building. (And you can't clone it out for basic.)

This works on a lot of levels, in my opinion. The separation of dark and light by the diagonal (would work for that challenge, too) and the fuzziness contribute to a sense of going somewhere. Nicely done!
