Day 2 edited: farm landby ShmeeComment: Very nice work with the combined exposures! It looks as though you added a bit of blur, too? I've discovered with my own stuff that you have to be careful with it or you create a sort of miniature look - that can be cool when you want it, though! You certainly brought out the colors very well! |

Day 1 edited: the stairsby ShmeeComment: Very nice job bringing out the subject and the textures. I agree it doesn't need to be cropped. You might want to try pulling the right side a bit more vertical with the skew tool - totally up to you, though. It really looks very nice as it is. |

midnight snackby ShmeeComment: Heh! It's actually kinda scary - like there's something in there that wants to get out! |

day 7 - Editby xXxscarletxXxComment: Very nice crop and nice edit. It would be helpful to others if you linked to your original shots and provided a bit of information on what you did with your editing steps. |

Day 7.2 - Sittingby Bruce_the_RobertComment: She does look quite involved with whatever it is she's doing! I like the "ground level" view a lot and it's something you may want to do more of when you get the chance to do so. Don't know how easy it would be to clone out the car, but that's because I suck at it. :-) As for the minimal aspect, not sure if you could have moved to frame this such that the car wasn't in the frame in the first place. I realize (and know from experience, too) that trying to get the right elements in the right place at the right time ain't an easy thing to do! |

Juan Castroby colorcarnivalComment: Cute candid! You may want to try a square crop and rotate the pick a bit to get the poles vertical. A touch of shadows/highlights to bring his face out a bit might work, too. |

Minimal Edit PAD 7 "Shrimpers"by noranekoComment: The sky is a bit blah in this one, isn't it? But skies don't always cooperate with us (I'm getting used to a lot of gray here). I think your editing will have to be based on what you wish to focus on with this shot - what do you want to show? As shot, I'm not sure whether the focus is the gentlemen or the larger boat with it's reflection. |
