Delta Bessboroughby leafComment: The richness of colours and of the black is wonderful as is the unusual length of the light reflections. Composition/ crop works well. |

General Merchandiseby BAMartinComment: Two things I notice straight away.
Softness (of focus?) and poor composition.
In terms of composition, there seems to be no balance within the frame. What is the main focal point - is it that pole, the signage on the left, the frontage of the building of the right? The pole and the overall image feels tilted and the top of the pole dissects the frame and the sky, breaking what flow there was from the left to the right. I just can't find a place for the eye to settle.
I like the black and white with sepia toning to place the buildings in time.
I wonder if other viewpoints would have provided a more aesthetically pleasing image. |

Serpentallicby chinkenminComment: That's a really great angle to convey the sheer size of this structure. Well done! |

Nina 21_04_2004by robsmithComment: Blimey, I am one of those who usually looks very sceptical when people start insisting they can "see" some of one parent or both in a newborn or young baby but I can certainly see a resemblance between Nina and Pop! |

The golden eggby jjbeguinComment: A touch dark but wonderful anyway. Nicely composed, the feathers adding just the right touch. Hope we're not depriving a mother bird of her nest and hens for this shot? :o) One of my top 5 for this challenge. |

Asian Woman... chance background poster.by BobsterLobsterComment: My absolute favourite in this challenge. I have looked at it again and again - there's something about the portrait of the central figure that's just absolutely compelling. Great colour, great interest, great emotion... wonderful. |
