Lovely shot! I can understand why many did not relate to it, however. Had you set this up so there was a neck showing, I bet you'd have scored in the mid-6's. But I think you made a striking image and I like it a lot.

Oh, I remember this place well! Chateau de Chillon, Montreux? On the shores of Lac Leman? I lived in Geneva from 1957-1961, and spent one summer at a camp in the hills above this structure. Very nicely done, except the greenish/cyan tint in the mid-sky bugs me.

Great title. Eerie image. Odd blotchiness to lower area of wall looks like poor usage of the healing brush or clone stamp, although it may not be. It's a little weak looking in that area though.

Nice one! Just noticed it via the HDR scores thread. Pitiable how the scorers are beating down true HDR images (like mine) in the HDR challenge because they actually look more or less natural, and presumably voting up the cartoons. It is gonna just foster misunderstanding of the real purpose of HDR and turn it into another grunge effect on our site :-(
