Gawd, I used to do a lot of this kind of stuff. Take shots on the fly without looking, I mean. This one's pretty interesting :-)

The virtue of the reflection, as it were, is that water and sky become one, the elements are merged. That's very good. Compositionally, it's not working so well for me, especially with the distraction upper right, which anchors it in a way that isn't working... If you tried cloning those bushes/reflections out, I think you'd find the whole effect worked better.

Yes, the ambiguity is the key. One of the great virtues of this sort of work is that one brings the viewers' minds into play as an integral part of the image/experience. This is really nice work.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. The lack of focus accentuates the the "environment of light". One sees this as one "really" sees it if one sticks one's face in the middle of this scene.
