Headspunby magenmarieComment: It's cute and I like it fine, but it doesn't have any hook that really captures me, makes me nod my head in approval. |

Tentaclesby L1Comment: That's funny. In the thumb I don't see the small flower, I'm like "yawn", and click it. Then I have a small window (I'm checking between tournament games) and I can only see the top half, and I'm like "yawn..." So it's another picture of blurry grass, nothing to get excited about.
UNTIL....
I pull down the window, and wow! What an effective image! Some may think that a "DOF shot" isn't really "messing with unsharpness", and in a sense that's true, this is a different sort of shot altogether, it has a definable and sharp subject, but still...
The image really sings. Good capture! |

Foggy Fly Fishin' by MelonMusketeerComment: The mildest amount of blur, lackluster composition, a capture that's oddly quiescent in the context of fly fishing. Don't you have another where the rod is raised and the line is whipping back or forward? There's potential here, but the scene needs something. |

after the rainby nixterComment: This is awesome. It is incredibly evocative. The sharp dividing line makes the image. |

Distorted Reflections of Treesby banmornComment: This is a lovely abstract. But surely they are reflections, not refractions? Refraction refers to the bending of light as it passes through a transparent medium, I believe. |
