One of my three 10's. I'm absolutely amazed this didn't ribbon, though of course you did very well with it :-) But still, this is so utterly, triumphantly, outrageously in-your-face, giving us more knowledge, in a single image, of the details of pelican dining than we've ever dreamed of having.

HOW could this have been improved? It's essentially flawless, the trans-luminance of the sac is stunningly effective, the jumping anchovies are so alive...

(And yes, they *are* anchovies, in case you happened to have been wondering)

I guess 6.0 is pretty good, considering, but nevertheless in *my* pantheon this, and other images of its ilk, are not given enough credit. Beautiful work, and a 9 from me.
