Two on the Rocksby BrinComment: Wow. "Ho-Hum, rocks n' waves, what's next?...wait a second! Is that a LIGHTHOUSE back there? So far from the water? And whoa! How did those HIKERS get up there?" Fun shot! |

Beacon of Lightby markwileyComment: It seems unfortunate to me that the dome is centered in this shot. I'm thinking about it, and the issue is worth exploring. I'll try to come back. |

Basalt Amphitheater with Bag Cameoby fas-ligandComment: You get a grin and a wink from me for the bag cameo.
Now imagine you're on location on the last day of a paid job. You get home to the studio, process the negatives (4x5 B/W) and find the bag :-(
There are two schools of thought here: always use black bags 'cuz they're less visible if they sneak into the shot, especially in the shadows, OR use yellow bags and orange bags and so forth so it's easy to do a running check :-) |

World of Greendomby glad2badadComment: This is gorgeous but it's hard to see what it has to do with "forced perspective" as we commonly use the term... |

London Fire Stationby toutoungiComment: While it's true that the two trucks are centered on the 1/3 verticals, more or less, and their bumpers occupy the 1/3 horizontal area, this doesn't read as a ROT composition, but rather as a centered and symmetrical composition. As much as anything, this is due to the central pillar and the way the FIRE logos define the horizontal center line.
It is a striking image regardless :-) Well seen. |

Miniatureby GeneralEComment: This is pleasant enough, but the unforgiving black background with no depth to it and the strange clipping of the selection on the vase aren't helping your cause :-( |
