Not sure that super shallow DOF was what this challenge was going for? Especially without something in the bg to look at, be drawn into. That being said the expression on this birds "face" is priceless. :-) Slight nit ... a little bit washed out and could use a dose of contrast IMO. Shot thru a window maybe?

Not seeing a lot f depth here :-( Bird's in the foreground but he's also the subject. Did you check the challenge description?

"Place interesting elements in the front of a photo to draw the viewer's eye in and create a sense of depth."
