I can't actually SEE 7 of anything. Your title implies that there are 7 of something, but without your title, I would not know that. I think this is a poor stretch at the challenge. As for the photo itself, The sky is bland, the focus is soft, and it's quite busy, with nothing interesting for my eyes to rest on. I'm just not drawn into this shot. ~Heather~

Christmas fair

This photo is really busy. There ARE 7 of the horses, but I think they don't stand out enough to make for a very exciting photo. all of the horses are incomplete. I would like to have seen at least one complete horse. (not cropped off by the border, or hidden behind another horse) the focus is ok on the horses, but the girl is really blurred, which creates a distraction. One thing that is really bothering me is the vertical line which seperates the photo directly in half running from top to bottom in the center of the photo. Generally, stong lines that divide a photo are not good, and this is no exception. Nice color near the top of the photo though. ~Heather~

I found them! There they are. I like the creative way you used lighting to give this visual appeal. I like the background, nothing distracting about that. I think that the colors in the marbles are good, and focus and clarity are also good. I like the arrangement very much. The shadows are what make this for me I think. Nice fun shot or a simple subject...7 simple subjects. Good luck in the challenge. ~Heather~

Lucky bracelets

Focus is quite soft on the bracelets. I would prefer this with crisp focus. The lighting is also not right. looks like a low light shot with flash. See the horrible shadow under the arm on the wall. Some ways to fix this would be to not use the flash, use as much other light as possilbe and move away from the wall some. The subjects are interesting and there are definately 7 of them. ~Heather~

This is a cute shot. Definately seven of the subject. Focus on the birds seems a little soft, but they are small subjects, so I wouldn't expect too much detail in them anyway, so it's ok. The lighting looks like it could have been a pretty overcast day, which makes the birds look a little dark. I like the horizontal way you framed the photo as well. Almost perfect from lower left to upper right. Cute shot for the challenge. ~Heather~

Seven Pillars

Why yes, yes there are. 7 pillars. Your going to hate me cause of this, but the background is bugging me. see...in the first few to the left, there is a black space between each pillar, and then it kind of gets off spaced..then there's a door, and then a black space between the last 2 pillars to the right. This bugs my Obsessive Compulsive side, and sorry. I think your focus and clarity are great and lighting is great and I like the black and white. The angle and framing/cropping are really good. love the dramatic angle you took it at. those darn squares are buggin me though. lol still very nice find, and good take on the challenge. ~Heather~

I like it. I think this is nicely laid out, focus is good, and it's a cute, fun shot. I think the border is rediculous though. lol. The lighting is casting some distracting shadows, maintly from the pencils that are raised up off the background. I think you picked nice colors for the pencils. They go well together and I like that. Vey nice shot. definatley creative and fun for the challenge. ~Heather~

Lighting seems really off here. I think the shadows are distracting and the dots in the center of the candies right on the S are distracting as well. The blue hue doesn't work for me, and focus seems soft as well. overall, the image just doesn't appeal to me. it's a cute idea for the challenge, and I like the negetive space to the right, but just not pulling me in. ~Heather~

Well, you came a mile from hitting the purpose of the challenge in my opinion. The challenge states "take a photograph which contains exactly seven of the main subject" is the main subjec the 7? if so, you would need 7 7's in order to meet the challenge. the girl? same thing. Actually, I can't find 7 of anything here. The shot is sort of interesting. I don't quite understand it, but I like the color. But complete challenge miss. ~Heather~

I can definatley see that there are 7, but it is not very clear that there are 7. kind of have to do a bit of hunding there for that 7th one (the middle blueish color). I like the texture of this photo and the colors are very nice as well. I like how you added the needle, I think it would feel incomplete with out that somehow. focus and clarity are also very good. Nice shot. creative twist on the challenge. ~Heather~
