Kids Always Think They Ruleby lcgleahComment: This photo is laying at a strange angle. Almost like it was taken upside down. I tihnk I would like to see this from a straight on angle and hae it fill the frame. The shadows make it so that the colors dont stand out as much as they should. This photo definately depicts childhood and it is a great, original idea. Good luck in the challenge. |

Dinosaur Parkby shedevilComment: Wow! We didn't have any cool dinosaur springy rides. We only had a duck wearing a saddle. The funniest thing ever! I love the color on this. I have heard that purple is hard to capture with a digital camera, but I don't see anything wrong here! Lighting and angle are great. I wonder if you could have backed up the photo just a tad bit to get the rest of him in the photo, but it looks lke you cropped it that way to keep other stuff out of the photo. The reason I think that is because it looks like there is something peeking out in the upper left corner. Great job and good luck in the challenge. |

Painted Horses by jmsetzlerComment: Definately reminds me of childhood. This is a really great photo. I loe how the horse it's self is in focus and the background isn't. The lighting is great. I love the colors, angle and frame placement. Very good job and good luck with the challenge. |

Fantasyby LanSnakeComment: When my dad would go out of town, my mom and i would watch scary movies all night. This is a good photo. I like the oldness of the subjects. The lighting is good, but there is a shadow going across the entire photo. It looks like the cross bars from a window. It is a bit distracting, but nothing serious. The angle and frame placement is great. Good luck in the challenge. |

Pure Countryby autoolComment: I think I figured this out. There is a slingshot, a pocket knife, and a broken pocket watch. The stick on the top looks like some kind of home made fishing pole. I could be wrong, but that's my guess. This is a really nice photo of a "different" childhood than what is stereotyped. The angle and lighting are very nice. I like the placement of the object. Great job and good luck in the challenge. |

Celebritiesby psychephylaxComment: Looks like a photo of a box. Not real difficult. I could be wrong. I mean, you did a great job keeping glare out of the photo and I was also thinking that this COULD be a photo of an actual barbie with a transparency in front of it with the word barbie written on it. that would be a little more creative. I guess I"ll find out tonight. Lighting is beautiful by the way and I love how it fills the frame. good luck in the challenge. |

childhood fascination of little thingsby notashamdComment: At first, this doesn't scream childhood, however I do remember trying to catch flies in the house. Later in the fall when it got cold and they got slow. This is a good photo. i am curious to find out what the white lines are near the flies butt toward the bottom left of the photo. You can see it even through the flies wing. I like the colors that show up on his wings. Kind of metallic looking. Great photo and good luck in the challenge. |

A Hard Day's Workby just-marriedComment: Great angle on the castle. Very nice job of keeping the moat and the castle in the photo. I like the angle a lot. The lighting is good, a little dark on the front of the castle and going down into the moat, but you can't exactly control natural light real well. Only way to have gotten light on the front of the castle would be to take the photo at a different time of the day, and i'm sure you weren't going to sit there watching the sand castle until that happened. lol. Great depiction of childhood. Good luck in the challenge. |

The Swingby jbolingComment: I like how there is one swing out in the photo. It's not just a photo of a bunch of swings. I like the difference in colors as well. There is some busy-ness in the background, but not your fault, if we could all choose our backgrounds, I'm sure we would. Lighting, angle and focus are great. I am wondering of you off centered it on purpose. I think it would be nice either way. Off centered, or off set. great job and good luck in the challenge. |
