The focus on these ants seems a bit soft to me. The lighting works and creates really cool shadows though. The background makes the ants and the shadows stand out nicely. The angle and framing/cropping are good. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~

This is very pretty. Almost looks like there are a vew light sources under there, however, who am I to say that it might not be one light source, with 3 or 4 bulbs. Hard to tell in this case, so I'll give the benefit of the doubt to you. Your angle and framing/cropping are very nice. I really like the way the water flows. Not the light in the very front, but the one just to the left of it is a little bit bright and washes out some of the detail that we see around the other lights. A very pleasing to look at picture. I would like to have seen this without the white edge to the right. Have the lit colors consume the whole photo. Your angle is wonderful though. Lots of great bright colors. I'm not a huge fan of abstract, but when it has a purpose, it can be very nice to look at. I like yours. Focus and clarity are great. I can see little air bubbles in the glass. I really wanted to do a candle shot this week, however my camera said no. lol. I really like this. The subject is lit well, and I like the light source as well. Great angle and framing/cropping. You have a subject and a lighting source. Meets the challenge very well. I like the framing/cropping, however the angle doesn't really work for me here. Very neat. Your light source is aparent. nice job with that. I like how the rock is see through. I like the green and purple lighting on the table in the bottom left. Pretty neat. Interesting shot. I like the round bubbles in the lamp. The colors are really nice, and The angle and framing/cropping are also nice. I like how the yellow kind of fades into the pink at the bottom. Something funky is happening on the right side near the top right corner, kind of like a double figure look, however, It is not present in the rest of the shot, so I am likely to think that it is something with a reflection in the lamp its self.
