Na-na-Na Na Na-naby kevinswopeComment: She looks like she had fun with this shot. My only suggestion, is to try to reduce the shadow behind her. The backgound is nice, not distracting, however, the shadow kind of is, in my opinion. Just noticed that she also has a bit of red eye, and I think most cameras come with the 'red eye reducer' thing. Not all, so if not, no big deal, but it could have helped in this case. focus and clarity are good. angle and framing/cropping are also good. personality really shows here. Good luck in the challenge. |

'ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE'by howzaComment: Well, at first, it's sad. Then it's kind of funny. lol. Poor thing! I'm wondering "how can he stand on only one leg". Then realized that they stand on one leg most of the time anyway. He looks like he's very used to it by now. Focus and clarity are good. Angle and framing/cropping are good. Lighting appears to have been cooperative for the shot. and I love the background. It's not a solid color, there is just enough variation to make it interesting, however, blurred enough to not make it distracting. Nice job. Good luck in the challenge. |

Egg Tby redfigComment: Nicely done. Egg-selent focus and clarity. (ok, sorry, that was bad) The texture and detail on the egg just jumps out. The background is great. Nothing distracting there. I like the DOF. Lighting is great. You did a great job with this photo. Good luck in the challenge. |

Cable Guy Epitaphby lionelmComment: Maybe I'm missing the humor in this photograph. The humor is in the title, but the photo didn't make me laugh. Technically, it's very nicely done. Nice bright color, great focus and clarity. LIghting is very nice to produce the black background, which I like as well. Good luck in the challenge. |

HayAgain, How About Some Carrots Lady?by GallatinComment: Try cropping this to right above the hay bales. I like how it looks that way. The color seems more balanced without the dull colors of the sky and trees. NOT your fault the colors are dull, looks like it's just that time of the year. I'm sitting here cropping it with the top of my screen, and I like it very much. The angle is great. Love how they are all just looking at you like you're crazy. The border looks very nice with the photo as well. Focus and clarity are great, and lighting on the subjects is excelent. The only thing I would like to see is a different crop. Great shot. Good luck in the challenge. |

New Hands Free Kitby OnieComment: The scary thing is, this looks like a natural thing for you. LOL I love how it comes in matching sets with the antenae. :) Quite funny. The angle and framing/cropping is good. Focus and clarity are great. Very nice job keeping reflection and glare off all the glass in the photo. There is a bit there, however, it's not distracting at all. The lighting worked out nicely as well. Nothing too bright, nothing too dark. Great creativity. Good luck in the challenge. |

Mad Owlby jnevittComment: Lighting looks like it was difficult for this shot. Some blown out areas on the owl. Not too bad though. Focus and clarity are good. I like the angle and framing/cropping very much. The blank space in front of his face is good. The colors seem a bit muted. Was that a result of the harsh lighting? I wonder if some saturation level adjustments would help at all. worth a try anyway. What a pretty animal. Good luck in the challenge. |

Sock Hunterby prophetessComment: I guess you'd have to be there to get the full humor in this. it's strange, but I can't really figure out what the heck it's doing. I assume from the title that that is a sock in it's mouth. Your focus and clarity are ok. lighting is alright as well. I think that if you could have blurred the background, that might have helped. I realize not everyone has this option, so just ignore me if you dont. if you DO though, work with it. I just learned DOF on my new camera, and it's a miracle worker. Good luck in the challenge. |

Redneck Palm Pilotby ShiiizzzamComment: ok, this is very funny. The redness of the hand though is a bit odd to me. I think that the angle and framing/cropping is nice, and the focus and clarity are great. I like the background very much, totally black, nothing distracting. No distracting shadows or bright spots. I guess my only suggestion is to tone down the red. Good luck in the challenge. |

Crazy, Lazy, Dogby boyte1Comment: The lighting here is kind of a distraction. Funny though, how he's laying on his back. I like the angle and framing/cropping you chose for this. The tight crop works well in my opinion. too bad he doesn't have his tongue sticking out. my dog used to do that all the time. cute dog. focus is also ok. good luck in the challenge. |
