~Critique Club Comment~

COMPOSITION- The composition in this one fits for what you are trying to say. Funny humorous execution. I like the blurring outside the window and not just sitting in a parking lot or driveway. You've also filled the frame nicely for the type of shot that you are doing.

BACKGROUND- I love the background in this. The blurred trees and stuff out the window gives the shot a sense of motion. Other than that there is not much more to say.

CAMERA WORK- Your focus and lighting is right on. The only concern I have is with the flash. It is reflecting off of his glasses and it draws my eyes there when I first look at the photo. So I think it might look a little better without him wearing the glasses, or to be safer a person without glasses.

POST PROCESSING- Youo've done great on your digital darkroom work. The colors are great and you don't have compression artifacts that I can see. Great job.

MY OPINION- I thought this was funny, I think they should do away with cell phones in cars for the most part. At least take them away from teenage girls :) Great job in the challenge.

Now that's using the old noggin. What did the cop say when he pulled you over?

Wow, now that is lone sexy and sleek phone! hehehehe... good idea for humor though it wasn't shot in the most attractive way. The way you have the subject driving and it's obvious by the passing outside is great... Also your composition is not bad though I might have liked to have seen a little more of the left cropped off, as the glare on the seat detracts from the subject. Good idea, I just think a little more thought could have gone into taking the photo, not just setting up something funny. -5-

how funny was the big red mark left on his head after he took that off? :)

I just can't look at this without cracking up! What an imagination you have !! Almost scary! Lighting and composition are good, and I don't even mind the distraction of the interior of the car since it sets the sense of "place".

I'm surprised your friend doesn't spring for the new surgical implants...

Very funny. The only thing that bothers me is the is the lighting. It gives it a snap shot quality. But I don't think you had much control over it unless you chose a different enviornment. Creative shot.

I've seen this circulated in e-mails before so the initial first reaction is lost althought I do think I thought it was funny the first time I saw the concept. It would have really helped (IMO) if it was in a professional environment(i.e. business suit). I think the humor and paradox(professional v. hillbilly) would have shown through alot more. Thiek--6

Honest to goodness.....your mind is spooky!! LOL this is such a hoot. I have you in my top three. Very good, very funny. Hit my funny bone. I guess the shot could of been improved.....but I ask myself ......why? I get the joke and we see what we need to see for the humor. Nice job.......I like it.

I've seen this picture before, only the last time it was a black man and he was obviously wearing an ordinary uncovered rubber band around his head.

The scary thing is, this looks like a natural thing for you. LOL I love how it comes in matching sets with the antenae. :) Quite funny. The angle and framing/cropping is good. Focus and clarity are great. Very nice job keeping reflection and glare off all the glass in the photo. There is a bit there, however, it's not distracting at all. The lighting worked out nicely as well. Nothing too bright, nothing too dark. Great creativity. Good luck in the challenge.

Cute idea.. I like the way the lighting helps draw the eye to the subject in this picture and their is good contrast, use of color and clarity in the shot.
