George Michael? Ringo Starr's son? Barbra Striesand? OK, I give.

Ready to get my groove on.
by Pedro

Comment:
Been workin' out? Could be PS arms, I guess. It's a smooth, relaxed portrait. So relaxed it's easy to overlook the fact that it's a very high quality photograph. However, the Pedro promo really does diminish it's appeal a lot (stick your thumb over it & see for yourself). 7

Great portrait, love the hat & the pose. It's a very clean, professional image with a touch of self-mockery about it that adds to its appeal. 7.

A very nice, Rockwell-like image. Good composition, good light, good camera, subtle (if any) processing. 7.

That's a great idea (which I can also relate to), and a very appealing portrait. Well executed in the brain, the camera and even the computer! 7.

This is a very appealing portrait. Good composition, relaxed & natural pose, and nice lighting. Is it a bit over-sharp? Nah ... the treatment seems just right to me. 7

Blurred Interlude1st Place
by jjbeguin

Comment:
Good idea, flawlessly executed. The subject's pose, examining the spectacles, is equally thoughtful, not just for its originality but also because it creates the opportunity to feature the hands as well as the head. Maybe the "frame" and it's associated foreground props is just a bit too dominant or too busy? 7.
