Umbrella Blownby JPRComment: An interesting and effective composition, also a little weird and quirky (which I like very much). 7 |

Rain, Rain Go Away...by PhilosComment: Nice composition, effective rain, and an appealing little model. Quite high contrast on the skin tones, but I like that too. 7 |

Keeping Dry!by MakkaComment: Very appealing portrait of a charming subject. Your simple but effective composition makes the most of both the model and the theme. Well done. 7 |

Gutter Greeneryby singeComment: Simple idea, executed with plenty of flair and skill. You've used composition and exposure very well to make such an interesting image out of an everyday scene that most of us might have overlooked. The water stream seems a little overprocessed, but it's effective anyway. 7 |

"The Monsoon Season"by tfarrell23Comment: Great detail in the clouds and a very fine exposure deflect the spotlight away from what would probably be a rather pedestrian foreground. Well done on directing the attention of the viewer so deftly. 7 |

Come Again Some Other Dayby jpochardComment: The very best of the "Rain, rain, go away...' images. Lovely thoughtful young model, terrific rain-on-the-window effect. Nice composition, photography and processing. 7 |

Moon Glowby ChezComment: Effective variation on the 'droplet on a leaf' genre. This one exhibits some original thought ,as well as your obvious skill in composing, capturing and processing the image. 7 Message edited by author 2010-10-30 08:37:31. |

It takes a little Rainby tuffyComment: A striking, stark image and a legitimate take on the challenge topic in my view. It's a scene that encourages the viewer into some actual thought about rain and its consequences, as opposed to yet another raindrop on a leaf. Nice, effective composition. 7 |

Solaceby nico_blueComment: Lovely, tactile image. The water looks seriously wet (not the case in many entries). The expression on his face is fabulous; he's just about wallowing in the rain! 8 |

(as seen by) The Sky's Tearsby fotodudeComment: Photograph is brilliant ... title sucks a bit (it seems confusing and doesn't suit this gritty image). The composition is terrific; I think you've used the tilted horizon very cleverly to wring a highly dramatic effect out of the road kerbs. And the wet paving looks fabulous in contrast to the virtually silhouetted figure and his reflection/shadow. Very classy work. 9 |
