What I like best about this (and I hope this won't seem too presumptuous, especially from a crusty old dude) is that you have made yourself look very interesting. I mean more than just pleasant to look at, but interesting to know. Intelligent. Not self-absorbed. Stuff like that. It's a technically excellent photograph as well. Very fine portrait. 8.

This is a very beautiful portrait. It has a charm and elegance that is missing from many of the stridently glamorous shots. The lighting, both of the subject and the background, is terrific and, for what it may be worth (or not), it makes a very appealing statement about the character of the subject. I think it has the qualities that will make it an enduring photograph. If I were you I'd be very proud of this searching and satisfying work. 8.

It's a very good portrait with an especially interesting composition & crop. The interpretation implicit in the title makes it even more interesting. I'd have probably tried for a little more contrast (it seems heavily biased toward the midtones) but I'd have probably screwed it up. 6.

It's difficult to be objective when one knows who it is. Based on the evidence presented, I'd say you were contemplating a shave. But I'll bet you didn't have it. It's probably not even morning.
I like it ... I always like your stuff. But I prefer liking it when I don't initially know that it's yours.
