I wonder what lens and at what focal lenght this was shot at. Sometimes extreme focal lenghts compress the scene so much that it creates a kind of macro effect. Like this deer almost looks four times the size of grass.... Well, that's just my mind playing tricks with me.
Cool shot, perfect isolation, colors work good together and the lack of (over)saturation is a bonus.

Interesting, trying to get a paintinglike effect here I guess? I quite like those ideas, altough the effect here has resulted in some blur softness that I do not see in paintings. There is a light halo around some parts of the arm and head scarf, looks a bit sloppy.
I also think that this could benefit from a more darkened background, because the tones fo grey in fore and background are too close now.
I like the composition, the pose, the light and the facial expression. 7
