Great pic. The joy on the face is wonderfull and the sledge she's holding seems to explain that expression. Good camerawork, nice soft background and excellent exposure (good snow, great yellow and no blowouts/highlights).

120 Seconds of Fame

Nice background and the shadow adds a lot of power to this image. Could benefit from a third to two third stop faster shutter I think. The right side with is more balance lighting is much nicer to look at than the highlighted left side.

The golden curves

Great concept, good lighting and setup. I would have liked it to be sharper though and the rope around the neck is pushing it a bit.

His Favourite color

Great use of dof here. The background is completely blurred and provides great background contrast for the bee. The lower right corner is soft as well and thus transfers all attention to the bee.
I love the detail of the wings. Good strong color.

Snow Tree at Night

Lovely pic. It looks like a very dramatic scene, like the forest is on fire and this beautiful tree in the foreground is threatened by a bush fire. Very good capture of the tree and great background. Nice to see a bright star/planet and that the exposure didn't leave a star trail.
I like it how the trees at the right provide some framing and scale.

This photo in a way communicates "liquid gold". I am not familiar with this drink and make. The colors are very powerful and the composition is very nice. Good lighting, very cleans and sharp. High rating.

Sunburst

Despite the seemingly soft focus this is one of my two favourites for this week. The color is so powerful, the composition of the front subject works out great and the background provides good balance subjectwise and great contrast lightwise.
Perhaps the soft focus look is what makes this image have such a big impact on me. I just love it. 10.

One of my two favourites.The mochrome vs yellow works great and the measure lint (don't know if that is the right English word) works great on the body profile and is nicely positioned above the belly button.
